Exactly bruh the gloves need to come off if the Rock is gonna be remembered as even being on his level, promo wise, in this feud. I dont know how for the life of me does the Rock not bring up the whole "Best in The World" tagline that Punk has been runing with for a year and ethering that with the legends he went toe to toe with in his era. The fact that he came back and beat the face of the company in one night.

He should of bought up that the only reason he has been champion for so long is because there is no one in the back on his level or his era's level. Who gives a fukk if he shyts on the current roster?

Rocky might not be able to pull off multiple shoot style promos. Punk is only in it for himself so he's going to play to his strengths. We already see what effect comedy has.......none. Cena made himself an easy target. Punk already told him he doesn't give a fukk about the corny bullshyt. Rock pretty much has to bury his reign and that's really not good.

That's were I disagree. I think that

a) Rock can shyt on Punk and his reign but not completely bury him.

b) A heel who doesn't give a fukk like Punk can hold his own. He might fail and look bad but if I'm booking, I'm willing to take that risk with him.

The best parts of Punk's promo from tonight weren't a shoot. Him saying all that stuff about Hogan, Bruno, being in the big leagues and the "boxing with god" line were the highlights so I don't believe this feuds needs nor will go the shoot route all the damn time

It's tough to reconcile the guy who's all stale catchphrases and old jokes with the guy who gave us so many great promo moments over the years. But that was a decade ago now.

It's got to be tough to get that back when you're not out there doing it week in and week out. He seems like now he will get going and then he will drop in a supposed catch phrase and it just derails whatever emotion or momentum there is. All the cookie puss fruity pebbles stuff is just him trying too hard to hit a homerun IMO.
