Rock needs to get on the same page as Punk. It's not just about the title and kicking somebody's ass. It's about a "bad guy" claiming he's the GOAT when he is in front of one of the biggest stars in wrestling history.

As I said in the RAW thread. The gloves need to come off and Rock needs to tell the truth about how Punk hasn't meant shyt for the business despite being a great wrestler and 400 days as champ, how he still doesn't main event and how he bytch and moans about everything.

He couldn't say that to Cena last year because he's their main guy and he was a face. Punk doesn't give a fukk, is a heel, and a better promo than Juanito. If Rock starts downplaying him as a "star", then we might have the GOAT mic wars

But seriously, try to keep things in perspective. Punk doesn't make everyone look like amateurs. His first promo wasn't even up to his usual standards; it was basically just an echo chamber for smark talking points, the same basic ones that have been on the net for years (pushing wrong wrestlers, stupid gimmicks, why isn't such and such rewarded for being good, backstage gossip). He just knocked Rock down a peg and let him know this wasn't going to be a watered down John Cena and he wasn't going to play up stupid jokes and insults.

Rocky might not be able to pull off multiple shoot style promos. Punk is only in it for himself so he's going to play to his strengths. We already see what effect comedy has.......none. Cena made himself an easy target. Punk already told him he doesn't give a fukk about the corny bullshyt. Rock pretty much has to bury his reign and that's really not good.
