They would lose out. Unless they can get in selling on the legal side and make way more money than ever before. But if we had to choose, wouldnt legalizing it be much better? I mean we got dudes locked up for years in the double digits for selling.

Blacks have always had to get it how they live on the underground tip...
these nikkas are gonna turn into animals without a proper transition.nikkas are fighting for scraps now as is..
Also legalized marijuana is a no no for the CIA and FBI...thats their bread and butter along with certain politicians...

Hip hop mogul who got rich selling alcohol and poisonous culture to his people thinks community organizer who became 1st black president and enacted legislation to help millions of black people should do more to help black people. :dame:

Are you automatically disqualified from stating your opinion in regard to a world leader just because u weren't the pillar of righteousness your whole life? Diddy endorses liquor, he also endorsed Vote Or Die. Diddy sells "poisonous culture to his people", whatever that means (I'm sure most the people who purchased bad boy albums aren't black) but he also provided the only outlet for the Justice or Else rally to be televised. If only saints can comment on things that effect society then a lot of the people we adore would be erased from history. I don't even rock with puffy (and I rock with Obama heavy) but them comments u made was off

1. While Vote or Die undoubtedly was a great movement, Puff says in here that it was black people who got Obama elected. Uhhhh, not really. We make up 13% of the population. We were not the deciding factor. Whomever convinced so many WHITE people to vote for him was what got the victory. Lets be real here...black people were going to vote for him anyway. Thats been one of the dreams of our community - to get a black man in the White House.

2. Too often I see an ignorance of how the government works. Puff didn't mention Congress at all. That's where we are losing. Vote or Die would have been more important in the congressional elections. That's where nobody shows up to vote, and when voter turnout is low, Republicans win. You want jobs Puff? Are you aware of Obama's job plan of 2010 that was going to provide thousands of blue collar jobs across the country to rebuild our infrastructure? Black people would have greatly benefitted from these jobs. That he set it up so it would be paid for by an extra %.7 on all Americans making $1,000,000 or more. GUESS WHO SHOT HIS BILL DOWN.

3. I wish he would have expanded on "direct aid to black people". Thats wayyyy too general. You mean send every black person a check? Or fund programs? What programs? Will it be legal?

4. Education? Obama's 2010 jobs bill was also going to send $30 billion to modernize 35,000 public schools. Again, it was going to be paid for by rich people. Again, GUESS WHO SHOT HIS BILL DOWN.

Obama is not above being criticized. But unfortunately a lot of the criticism I hear coming from people in our community is grounded in ignorance of how the government works.
This is what always gets me people criticize Obama for the wrong things it trips me out.

A lot of black people need to be more involved in all branches of government.

I don't know of of another president who would say 'My son would look like Trayvon', or sit down with federal drug offenders and discuss mandatory minimum sentencing and the drug laws war on minorities and poverty like equals.....who the fukk else has, or would do that?
Man dont even try he has done an excellent job I would like more from him but this information age has changed the presidency people will come to learn how well he has done once we can compare and contrast in the next 5-10 years.

I am convinced that people in this country don't realize that it takes a majority in the house and a majority in the Senate to pass a bill. If people really wanted Obama to make large sweeping change in this country then he would have been granted that mandate via support in the senate and house elections.

His comments make no sense. You don't simply give groups money in this country. Foreign aid comes from a budget. Discretionary spending for domestic shyt has to be approved by congress. It's worth noting the budget Obama signed a couple days ago has the highest discretionary spending in years. Congress has clamped down on that shyt ever since republicans took over in 2010.

The stimulus had plenty of money that went towards inner cities with infrastructure projects, school shyt, etc. Outside of that there hasn't been much direct domestic spending, outside of pet projects n shyt.

In short, Obama isn't the one writing the checks. That's not the president's job - all he does is sign the check that he's given from congress. Pumping money into the hood isn't some fix all. I had to dap @DEAD7 but I'll agree that there's a long history of shyt like this not helping anyone but the higher ups (ie people who buy the real estate, construction groups, city movers n shakers, etc). If you want to fix cities it has to start at the state level IMO. You got cacs in many states shutting off tax dollars to inner cities. Which is why many inner city schools don't have good resources. Or why Detroit is getting starved, as tax revenue goes to surrounding suburbs but not the city.

the president is important n all but yall need to start voting in state and local elections. That has WAY more direct impact on your daily life :ehh:

the ether
It is true that Obama could have and should have done more, but was too entrenched with the financial class and party politics.

It is also true that Diddy isn't someone who can really open his mouth about that.

There are real people criticizing the prez for real shyt, coming from Diddy it sounds like a bunch of bs.
