Goertek (Chinese manufacturer) have been tasked with producing 1-2 million VR headsets for launch from a major Japanese console manufacturer. Really only two options here, and it's very unlikely it's Nintendo.
Goertek have also been tasked with producing additional PS5 consoles to help with the production capacity. Yes, there are not enough PS5 units being produced to meet demand right now. This part might be in order to have enough units to sell PS5/PSVR2 bundles.
Now, as I said, they are probably not producing yet, but closing the deal to produce most likely means that the specs are finalized. If the specs are finalized that means launch in 2022. And stuff like this in quantities in the millions for launch means at least 3-6 months lead time from production of first launch units to release. The rumored reveal of the headset in March seems VERY likely now. Especially since as soon as the factory starts producing the first units, images will leak onto the web. Sony will want to have the presentation as the first reveal.
Finalized specs also means new/final devkits so we might see leaks of specs from devs before the Sony reveal.
