They are still building them aggressively. Sony said from jump they were gonna manufacture more systems than they ever have.
Last gen there was questions. This gen they know they can sell as many as they can make.
That's usually how this goes. You get the best prices on or around launch day. From there it's a gradual decline until they're widely available. This whole closer to Christmas the price goes up, I've never seen it. If someone with the excess money to pay over retail is cheap enough to try and hold out at $900 they aren't gonna turn around 2 weeks before Christmas and pay $1500+ for one.Again, most are selling for less than a rack, and that was at the initial excitement. You can buy a PS5 right now on offer up for ~$850.
There’s more systems in re-sellers hands than retailers. Sony is aggressively restocking.
All of that points to prices not going up from here imo. Time will tell if I am correct.
Well, we'll see. I know worst case is that I can get a rack for this last standard PS5 I got, but if I can get 1500 for it closer to Christmas then I'll try. I just know I have that 1000 dollar sale in the backpocket at worst.

I don't know what I'd do. I think I'd get more on Ebay.
My argument with you was over the sales price.
But again I don't know yet. If I get an non Ebay offer for 1200 I'll take that. But if I sell on Ebay at 1500, I can get 1315 after fees. Sell at 1400 and I'm at 1230 after fees. It all depends.

nikka i sold my 2 ps5 disc edition to some dude in miami on offerup for 2500 for both. Same guy bought both units. I posted it story in thread. Ebay wouldnt let me list for some reason and i got 100 percent rating. Another dude got 1200 for one on offerup also
