I’m still holding onto my 2nd unit for “insurance” purposes but I’m keep an eye on how high the prices go...sony emphatically stating multiple times that they’re sold out is gonna drive folks crazy lol

And you see when you click completed all those $1100-$1400 listings disappear.

Majority go for between $900 and $1000 or even less.

You a small guy without a rep you’re not even getting that. With fees and shyt added you’d be lucky to make $200 at this point.

85% of those between 800 and 1200 dollars
60% between 900 and 1100

A 1000 dollar sell average isn't ridiculous

Now PROFIT is a whole nother discussion using Ebay. And you are right in that you are looking at a little over 200 at that price on a standard ps5 with ebay and paypal fees selling at 900.


200 dollars on 550 isn't a bad recoup. But cats looking to make and keep double on Ebay is delusional.

My original post only said to get the best you can get locally cause on eBay you competing with a nikka that got 3500 systems.

Again, most are selling for less than a rack, and that was at the initial excitement. You can buy a PS5 right now on offer up for ~$850.

There’s more systems in re-sellers hands than retailers. Sony is aggressively restocking.

All of that points to prices not going up from here imo. Time will tell if I am correct.

Ebay you can easily get a rack for piece of mind and not dealing with potential robbery

Offerup is for broke cats selling who thought they could flip for ridiculous money and they are gonna get humbled. that credit card bill coming soon for they ass. 850 ain't a stretch on there tho. But you'd make a lilttle more bread on Ebay selling for a rack.
