Dude, there's a variety of reasons shyt sells for higher. I'm on the page right now.

Why you so upset. The shyts are selling easily for a roughly a rack. It's all about the auction you are on.

Did the console/money actually get exchanged is the question.

Fake listings and buyers are posted purposely to increase demand and prices. Also buyers usually back out if the result of the auction makes them pay more than they could get the item in buy it now.

Usually how it works on eBay is that the buy it now links are more than what the auctions are going for. It’s the opposite right now. There’s no incentive for a buyer to spend that much.

We have guys in this thread saying their $1000 listings are not being scooped up ASAP.

All I’m saying is that with so many out there on the re-sell market it’s gonna be difficult for the small guy to make good money.

I already have a rep on Ebay. Those with new accounts aren't getting the same looks other experienced guys are, but they should still be able to sell for 900 minimum.

No, eBay does not come back and say if the listing was actually completed or not.

Again all I said was that shyts competitive and you are better off getting 900 or so locally than trying to hold out for $1000+ on eBay. Unless of course you have an online selling presence and a bunch of systems.

Ebay lists it as “sold” as soon as the auction is over.

But you never know if the buyer actually sent the money and/or the seller actually sent the item or if there was ever any return or chargeback fukkery.

you might not be understanding what he’s saying...when you filter it for sold items it automatically checks/includes completed sales...so what he’s seeing are items that were sold where the transactions were completed...he would have to uncheck the completed box in the filter in order to see circumstances under which the items may have sold but the transaction wasn’t completed...it’s why he said “completed/sold”

Meach believes that the demand will drop soon to a point that the scalpers won't be able to make a killing of the PS5 since you have so many scalpers. I said that's not the case off what is going on and I used Ebay as evidence. Over 29k sold/completed auctions of PS5s averaging around a rack plus. That shyt ain't dropping no time soon at least until after the holiday at the earliest.

not dropping soon, after reality hits after black friday and it gets closer to christmas it will probably go up if anything

Nah, I was honestly trying to give a bit of advice dude to a news story I saw.

Scalpers have more systems than stores. That’s not a good look for small time guys trying to make big bucks off one or two systems.
