and this is why they can afford a 399 console. 30% (sony cut) of 69.99 on digital titles is better than 59.99. Probably a higher percent from first party titles.

Their digital profit will continue to soar this gen due to increase in price of individual titles,general increase of digital adoption, and the push for digital only consoles that are locked in to PSN.

Wouldnt be surprised if PS+ goes up as well, with the addition of the PS+ collection.

From PS1 to PS4 I have gotten them all on launch day. For PS5 I won't be.

Looking foward to Hitman 3 though, but it's not released until late January.

Plus, I don't like the fact there isn't an all black color console.

Who cares I don't own Sony stock lol. I do own some Microsoft but not because of gaming. I care about next gen experience and WE AIN'T GETTING IT

This does impact my decision to purchase a ps5 though.
Because if all things considered these games run on my pro with
a lower resolution. I might wait until 2021 to come up on a ps5.

One could just buy/build a rig, plug it in their 4K TV, get a controller, and play all the games they want at higher specs. Long term you probably end up saving money versus buying these consoles.
