i refuse to spend 5 bills for 2TB ssd for the ps5, i will just delete games and then redownload them if i want to play them again because i have fibre internet. besides, i only need to shuffle like 2-3 games the most.
yeah it's rough , essentially you are paying 1K for consoles now if you really want to enjoy

The problem with deleting and redownloading is that it will fukk u if u got a data cap on ur internet.

Just gonna drop this in here…

I recommend that everyone who seriously games to get an M.2 SSD.

All SSDs have limited writes before they die. The write life is based on the size and quality of the SSD.

We don’t know the write life on the internal PS5 drive, we can assume that its a lot since its a good size and they would want some longevity. But we can’t say for sure.

So, to alleviate the stress on the internal drive, I’m installing everything to the M.2 (aside from 1st party games). If the M.2 dies, who cares. If the internal drive dies, the whole console goes with it. So, I’m playing it super safe.

Plus, due to the faster write speeds of M.2 over the internal drive, the ‘copying/install’ process should be a lot faster.
