the keeping pace argument is PS4 = 1,577,000 XB1 = 1,101,000 YTD in the US
So they make the changes they need to make to maximize their sales because the outcome of this generation has yet to be determined and the majority of buyers haven't entered the market. I get that you're a Sony guy and you wanna play up the story that Microsoft is getting slaughtered but PS2 era 100+ million more than the competition is slaughter. when the difference is a couple million apart that's not even worth mentioning and because its so early in what we're seeing now doesn't mean much as long as Microsoft can stay with in striking distance which they are.
its not that big of a deal. the sales are close enough. this is the equivalent of fans celebrating a 10 point lead in the first quarter of a basketball game. coach makes adjustments and keeps the score close enough. it's a long game and they don't wanna be down 30 in the first quarter but they can live with being down 10.But breh, they've made changes !!!
bundles, price drops, removing shyt and it's STILL not working.

Really what difference does it make if its over or not? If I'm the CEO of Microsoft all I'd be concerned about is making money. We'd keep pace with Sony as best as we could to keep the market from becoming lopsided. Outside of that it's maximize profits. If we're making money why does it make if we outsell them or not? That would be my attitude.Being outsold 7 out of 8 months (with the lone exception due to constraints in December) is not a good look. Patterns are key in sales breh. If titanfall and a 20 percent price cut isn't doing the job here.....I don't see one territory that MS is gonna claim this gen.
This shyt is over..Xbox was never the global brand Playstation is and it never will be.

The people most heavily invested in this who sells the most contest are internet fanboys. in reality there's no trophy given out at the end of a console generation for the company that sold the most. all that really matters is the bottom line of how much the company invested in the tech and how much it made them back.
Thing is, microsoft is losing BILLIONS on xbox.Really what difference does it make if its over or not? If I'm the CEO of Microsoft all I'd be concerned about is making money. I think Nadella and his team are definitely looking at that as a possibility.Man you need to stop fam......all this goalpost moving is rediculous.
the point is that Sony's lead continues to grow in the one area that MS figured they'd have locked up. Natella gonna sell off xbox....watch....
where are the numbers that back this?Thing is, microsoft is losing BILLIONS on xbox.

analysis had them selling the Xbox One at a small profit and that was with the Kinect. dropping it probably has them still at a small profit if not breaking even on units sold
