Ok, so I reply with...I had a gamecube, ps2 and a xbox. I also had a 360, wii and a ps3. Also had a dreamcast.
Xbox one has weak hardware, terrible first party support and its the most expensive system.
Why would anybody buy an xbox one? Its over priced and under performing. Why would anybody buy a multi plat on a system that runs it worse and for more money?
Your attempted comparison holds zero weight to the curreNt gaming market.
Your asinine question is empty and meaningless.
Yeah, how does he know how terrible the XB1 is?You seem to know a lot about the Xbox One. When did you get your system to come to these conclusions
Oh, so he deflects the question when directly questioned. Isn't this a forum where we use words to communicate? He never wants to speak on anything when spoken to directly (like if he is retarded or something )
Ok, yes or no Prodigal...Winb83 said:actually it does because regardless of your rationalizations around it the PS2 was weaker than an Xbox and a Gamecube. the question still remains did you enjoy the system any less? did you avoid buying games on it because it was weaker hardware?
its a yes or no question doesn't take a paragraph to answer which you still haven't answered.
So basically he essentially totally dodged the questionsits not the same price. One SKU is available at the same price but that SKU is a gimped version of the already inferior product. The system was built around a useless peripheral. Taking out it and furter b*stardizing the product doesnt make it the same price.
When exactly is quantum break coming again?
What first party games are currently on the system?
Again, youre trying to compare apples and oranges. Sure xbox was more powerful than ps2. But guess what? The Exclusives of sony made it not matter because they were so plentiful.
Xbox one has worse hardware and it doesnt have the games to make up for it.
I would like to take a time-out to take a look at the poster prodigal syndicate and his contributions to this thread...

Ok, let Winb attempt to have a convo with him...

Sad thing is, dis clown ass nikka keeps talking about games. Forgetting that every negative he tried to say about XB1 applies MORE SO TO THE PS4
What first party games are currently on PS4
When is UC4 coming out, 2015
PS4 doesn't have games, you are living off the past LITERALLY (the last of us)
You don't seem to give a shyt about your FUTURE. DX12/TiledResources/Cloud and Quantum Break
Halo 5
Gears of War
Forza Horizon 2
Phantom Dust
Scalebound
Just to name a few, are in our future. While you HOPE games that nobody can speak on even exist
B-b-ut but cloud, direct x12, random buzz word.
Year to date the PS4 has sold 476,000 more units in the US than the Xbox Oneits not the same price. Breh you cannot be serious and say that about 476K more is not substantial. Especially considering the PS4 was white hot and not available for months.Year to date the PS4 has sold 476,000 more units in the US than the Xbox One

This is in the face of the Xbox One being $100 more until last month.
That's a negotiable difference. The PS4 isn't killing the Xbox One in terms of sales. Is it selling more? yeah but is that amount substantial? no. If your arguments are true and the Xbox One is such garbage in comparison then why are the sales of both systems so close? There's nothing wrong with the games on the Xbox One. Maybe the lineup isn't for you but the rest of the general population doesn't seem to share that sentiment.
I don't necessarily disagree with all your stances. I still think if you're buying one of these systems only the PS4 is the better buy but I also believe when all is factored in it isn't that much better than the Xbox One to the point where you'd be crazy to buy an Xbox One over it. I'm primarily a Playstation gamer. I've never really been a Microsoft guy and I'm still not but the Xbox has games I wanna play on it and I'm not gonna pretend like it doesn't or exaggerate the quality of its titles to rationalize it not being worth the purchase. I simply like to play good games. Doesn't matter what platform they drop on.
If the generation ended and the numbers were under 500K apart that's basically a tie. It being sold out for months means nothing because right now you can walk in any store and have either to purchase and the numbers are under 500K apart for the year.Breh you cannot be serious and say that about 476K more is not substantial. Start factoring the numbers in Japan and well...

Worldwide the Xbox One isn't in available in anywhere near the same amount of countries as the PS4. The PS4 is in closer to 50 countries and the Xbox One is in closer to 15. Last generation if you factor in all things the Xbox vs PS was a wash. We're talking about 170 or so million sold between both of them and a difference of maybe under 5 million. Meaning that while you may feel the PS is superior there are damn near as many people that disagree with you than that do if you look at the global marketplace.Thats One single country though.
Last gen 360 outsold ps3 2:1 in that same country.
Worldwide the one is being dominated. And that lead in the u.s. is growing every single month. Its been six months straight of ps4 outselling it.
Even though their estimates, ps4 is at around 8 million and xbox is at 4. And every month those numbers keep widening.
Its not that the Xbox didn't make the splash it was supposed to Microsoft is just keeping pace with Sony. We can assume that when the generation is over there's probably gonna be well over 200 million sold between both consoles if half the people that bought Wiis buy one or the other and sales stay the same between the brands. So we just gonna ignore the rest of the world fam?
It's being outsold with Larryfall that didn't make the splash it was supposed to, a 100 dollar price break and kinect removal.

you're arguing that 500K or hell even 4 million between a potential 200+ million even matters? That's a drop in the bucket.
the keeping pace argument is PS4 = 1,577,000 XB1 = 1,101,000 YTD in the USWhere's this keeping pace argument?
Being outsold every month with continued word of mouth in their stronghold area last gen making things worse?
