a slower CPU with more cores isnt going to help where i care most, games. i dont want a set top box. i prefer watching blu rays when it comes to movies.Except you can't name a single game or even direction sony is going for you to say that
All those cores are for other features. The 720 is a settopbox that does everything
Gaming, internet, cable, kinect with 3D holographic gaming/etc.

I think you have to come to accept the fact that you are primarily a traditional/hardcore gamer. Honestly the PC has been the best spot for that for several years now. This generation has seen Microsoft and SONY just try to battle each other to become htpc solutions when its all said and done. I loved the PS2/XBOX/GC era because it was all focused on gaming...thats simply not the case on consoles anymore.
that will be easier to accept if more japanese developers would at least make decent PC ports.

at your ass complaining about buying anything then Microsoft charge your ass to basically use the internet through their system that you own. Found out i had to buy that xbox live to watch fukking netflixs or anything streaming content that i already paid for. 
PS+ is worth every penny. And i would gladly pay for it and cant wait for that PS1+PS2+PS3 streaming ecosystem that Sony bout to let stream through their Gaikai company. I'll gladly pay a monthly subscription similar to Netflixs to play every game from all generations of playstation.
