The only thing PSN has going for it is you can play online for free. Ps plus charges you money for that inferior service, but they throw in some cheap demos and games that you probably wouldn't even buy anyway, basically your paying for advertisements.
In my opinion it's the ps plus members who are getting shafted the most out of the bunch. If your really into online play and you care about quality $40 a year isn't a bad price. If you don't like the price, and don't mind sacrificing quality then PSN is not a bad service. By joining ps plus your giving up any advantage you could have with either service and being able to download games that nobody wants for free isn't worth sacrificing your advantages.

They didnt say that. They said the system would have a 10 year cycle. They didnt say they werent going to release another system. Even though the ps4 will be out for the next gen of gamers, games will still be released on ps3. Dont know what shard to understand.

The problem with these debates is that you fanboys can't be honest with yourself. Any way you look at it XBL is better than PSN from a quality standpoint. This viewpoint has been echoed by reviewers, tech profesionals, consumers and more importantly GAME DEVELOPERS. Just look at how much more active XBL is than PSN. There must be something good about the service that there are more people willing to pay to use it then there are people who'd rather use a free service. Also a big draw to online play is COMMUNITY, XBL community is much larger and diverse than PSN, to those who are serious about multiplayer gaming this fact alone is enough reason to pay for the service.

Like I said you're paying for advertisements. 99% of the free games, demos, and discounts you receive through PS plus are things that you wouldn't even have looked at, they're not even on your radar, but since you get them for free somehow that makes it a good deal
