Fall back. Mobb Deep and Snoop being cool have no bearing on what I posted. This thread is about "Drop A Gem On Em" being the greatest thing to come out of the East Coast/West Coast beef. I was merely pointing out that it wasn't because Snoop crushing the buildings was a bigger deal and more legendary than that song.

Your wrong tho....

You're conflating impact with quality. Snoop awkwardly making a kicking motion in front of a green screen did not take more skill than writing Pee's verse. Plus we don't even know if that was Snoops idea.

:what:

Are we not talking about the whole beef? It was bigger than "Drop A Gem".

Where does it say biggest?:francis:

Greatest implies everything that comes with that. Was it great? Yes, but it wasn't the GREATEST thing to come out of the beef. That's why I'm talking about the impact because being the greatest also entails impact among other things and not just quality. Considering the magnitude of the East Coast/West Coast beef, it's completely laughable to consider a singular verse as the greatest thing to come out of it.

So the idea that RAPPING could be the greatest thing in a battle between RAPPERS is laughable? :francis:

The East/West Coast beef wasn't just about battling. The whole thing didn't start with rappers attempting to best each other with bars. It's not the idea of the rapping that's laughable. It's the fact that one verse is being argued as the greatest thing to come out of the East Coast/West Coast beef. Knowing every thing that took place during that entire beef (all the diss records included, all of the events leading up to the beef, the events that occurred during the beef, and the aftermath), Prodigy's verse being the greatest thing to come out of it is laughable.
