I just saw a poll where 67% of people said canelo. Canelo is great, but so was Hopkins that is way too skewed.

Hopkins!

As much as I disliked old snuggle tooth, he was too slick, knew how to take an opponent's favorite weapon and more importantly, setup traps.

Canelo eats up guys that sit in front of him or is the aggressor. I truly feel he still has problems with guys that have good footwork and can pop a jab in his face.

Bernard ain't no sitting duck for that right hand or left hook of Canelo.

PRIME B-Hop was about 30-33 years old. around the time of the middleweight tourney he was about 35 and I think a few years past his athletic prime when he beat Tito. he was still athletic and strong but his craftiness and style is what got him through the later years. I'd take him over Canelo in their primes.

Hopkins has fought and beaten so many styles over his career that i would have to bet with him in a fight against Canelo.

It would be down to the wire. They both have a tendency to give up rounds due to inactivity. But b hop was way worse. That's why he lost to Jermaine Taylor and calzaghe. Even though I felt like he deserved the decision against Joe. I think canelo wins the first half due to b hop being too cautious. Then b hop would rally as canelo got more fatigued and he felt safer letting his hands go. But b hop's overly cautious style always made fights closer than they should have been.

160 I would lean towards b hop cause of his superior stamina. 168 I would take canelo cause of his superior speed and power. I Think b hop would just be too hesitant to throw and give up too many rounds. This is a tough matchup cause they have different prime weights. Just wasn't a huge fan of b hop over 160. But it would be a great fight. They both would make eachother miss a lot.

lol the hopkins that fought tito would school the shyt out of any version of canelo

canelo was gettin out boxed by amir khan before the tko

canelo hasn't improved as much as ppl says he has. there just isn't anyone out there really with the style to beat him.

andre ward would also school canelo.
