That was an interesting video. He could have been taken out way earlier. The karate kid was in a one-leg stance at one point. That would have been an easy take down moment. Maybe dude didn't want to slam him into onlookers.
The hit didn't knock him out though, it was when his head his the floor during the takedown. Considering it was a hard concrete floor with ceramic tiles, I'm guessing karate boy got a major concussion.
