I didn't name my school and you didn't address your own logic fail.

You said that you go to an ivy league school, so I looked what up school and you said that you're getting a PHD in sociology from Harvard.

I graduated with honors from a top 20 university and am getting my phd from the very same university that you were going to try to finagle your way into by transferring because you clearly weren't qualified to get in the regular way (that is why it's so funny that you want to talk about who is and is not qualified when you were trying to sneak in through the back door).

Phd student...

Elementary school...I taught 2nd grade for two years and third grade for a year (all subject areas). Now I teach undergrad sociology and education.

You scored in the 90th percentile on the GRE and you go to Harvard I was too busy laughing at the :duck:'s to address my logic.

Given the state of affairs in the African American community, ABSOLUTELY. Any country you go to, the local citizens are given preference over outsiders. The problem is blacks feel they don't deserve shyt despite their immense contributions to the development of this nation.

An African American should most definitely get preference over outsiders, even whites at this point. The economic disparities in the african american communities are too great.

Exactly you got to that indians country you ain't gonna get preferential treatment there. Even if you the smartest mothafukka in that country.

Mindy wanted a career in entertainment. Vijay wanted to become a doctor like his mother. But upon realizing how hard it was, he tried another route. He saw that a friend of his from a similar ethnic and educational background did not get into a single medical school. So he decided to pretend he was African-American.

Despite mediocre grades and board scores, he was interviewed by 11 of the 14 elite medical schools he applied to and was admitted to one. Though he made no claim to be disadvantaged — admissions committees were aware that his parents were well-off professionals, that he went to expensive schools and that he needed no financial aid — he was treated like someone who needed a leg up in life merely because he was black.

"I faked being black to get into med school"

says colleges are practicing "affirmative action racism".

A fleeting childhood
Disgusting and unacceptable. I'm sure Mindy won't come out and say what he did was wrong nor provide a scholarship for a African American that actually needs the help.
:pacspit:

Edit upon further research seems that she distanced herself from her brother. Still looking for her official statement

The elephant in the room is that African American applicants are held to a much lower standard. Otherwise he wouldn't get 75%+ response rate OR admission. Ameribrehs is this something that is wide spread or is this a one off case? Regardless it still paints a negative light on the affirmative action process. Reminds me of the flawed female scholarship rates handed out.
