Get used to it brehs. They think any black person in a prestigious college or corporation is there because of a quota. :francis:

Even though studies keep showing how white high school dropouts have an equal chance of getting jobs compared to black college graduates.

And they claim non successful black people don't work hard enough but claim successful black people were somehow given a handout. How does that work? :leostare:

They just throw out logic when it comes to their hatred for black people. :yeshrug:

Vijay Chokal-Ingam, actress Mindy Kaling’s brother, claims that he pretended to be black to get admitted to medical school.

Kaling, formerly of The Office, is the creator and star of The Mindy Project on the Fox television network.
Despite lackluster grades (3.1 GPA) and MCATs that made a career in medicine unlikely, Chokal-Ingam’s “project” apparently worked, enabling him to gain entrance to the St. Louis University School of Medicine after interviewing at nine top schools across the country.

Determined to become a doctor without the necessary academic qualifications, Ingam said, “I shaved my head, trimmed my long Indian eyelashes, and applied to medical school as a black man.”
He also opted to go by the name JoJo instead of Vijay, adding,“I even joined the Organization of Black Students and started using my embarrassing middle name that I had hidden from all of my friends since I was a 9 years old.”
Vijay Chokal-Ingam earned a BA in economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from UCLA and was a National Merit Scholar. He refers to himself on Twitter as an Affirmative Action Hacktivist.
Although he dropped out of med school after two years and now runs a resume writing service from Los Angeles, the TV star’s brother apparently has a memoir in the works about the application process experience called Almost Black.
In the upcoming chronicle about what he deemed a twisted social experiment, Chokal-Ingam makes his opposition to race-based affirmation action evident, according to the book’swebpage.“After watching my better-qualified Indian-American friends get rejected from medical school, I realized that my chances of getting in where almost nil. I read several books and discovered strong evidence that American medical schools were discriminating against Indian Americans, Asian Americans, and whites in the form of a statistical chart in the back of the book, Minority Student Opportunities in United States Medical Schools 13th Ed. 1996. In essence it stated that black, Hispanic, and Native American applicants with my grades and test scores were much more likely to gain acceptance into medical school than Indian, Asian and white applicants.
I realized that by posing as a black man, I could dramatically improve my chances of gaining admissions to medical school…”
Chokal-Ingam claims that race was the only thing he lied about on his med school application and that he has no apologies for adopting the persona of an African American.“I committed an act of defiance against a system of legalized racism… I hope the story of my experiences will be a catalyst for social change and opposition to affirmative action racism.”

TL;DR: Pretended to be black, got into med school, flunked dropped out two years later and now writing a book called "Almost Black"

Saw this on LSA (s/o to @okra), posted it on here :yeshrug:
Thoughts?
@Broletariat what is the term for an Indian sell out?

Update (4/5/2015): In an interview with the New York Post, Vijay Chokalingam says that his sister does not approve of the social experiment, and is feuding with him over his latest disclosures.

“I love my sister to death,” Chokal-Ingam, 38, told The Post in a telephone interview from Los Angeles, where he and his comedienne sibling both live. But they’re fighting over his revelation. “She says this will bring shame on the family.”

In order for this sham of an experiment to happen, he had to make up a lot of shyt.
Not him but the whole idea of some Indian mofo finding out the bar is set so low for black people and he exploited it.

ah...i see . He understands the rite of passage for non black minorities in america to attain a higher social status is to find a way to shyt on black people while looking at white folks like "see..im not like them...put me in a higher status".
He's learned well.

Interesting how he and others like him blame the 1 percent of black kids that get accepted due to affirmative action as the reason they didnt get in.. Ignoring the 90 percent of white kids that were admitted...no doubt a significant number due to various versions of affirmative actions that benefits whites. Yeah...if tyrell and shaundra, that managed to get in with a class of 200 non black faces, didnt get it..he sure as hell wouldve made it. Its those 2 faces that blocked his chances. The horror.

Funny how non black minorities always seem to forget that the reason white folks tolerate their presence in their institutions, residential areas and workplaces is because millions of blacks had to suffer to open these doors. Naaah. that couldnt be it. Its purely because they've earned these things.

If the civil rights struggle didnt happen, im sure raj would've still made it and his sister would be having her own prime time television show just based off their talent and hardwork.

The delusions that some of these folks have.
The issue is people on platforms of being heard do not call out people on their bs besides Jon Stewart (he's Jew) and are afraid of losing their cash flow.

Now socioeconomics permeates every single area of life, so socioeconomically wise what would bring some like that here? :pachaha:

Down time in between studies, which engulfs the student's life. Don't even ask me how. :stopitslime:
