Who says they aren't? If they're undocumented they'll get deported as well.

Even if there is a focus in Haitian immigrants it makes sense why. Haitians are 90% of the immigrants.

The focus is on DOMINICAN CITIZENS OF HAITIANS DESCENT. The majority of those citizens being lined up for deportation were born in DR and speak Spanish as their first language. They're as Dominican as light-skinned citizens.

The law is a human rights violation and is racist.

If your grandparents are Haitian born, but you and your parents were born in the Dominican. Can you still be deported?

1. We've already established that being born some where doesn't make you a citizen.

It isn't true in Haiti, and it isn't true in DR.

2. You don't know the story of who's being deported yet. So you're just talking out you ass with the bolded

Potentially.

Some people in this situation have documentation and some don't.

They're said to be handling it on a case by case basis as much as possible, though

Under the law, yes.

They would avoid deportation if they have the proper documentation (I.e., birth certificates). However, the DR SYSTEMATICALLY prevented citizens of Haitian descent from obtaining their birth certificates for decades so clearly those citizens will have issues proving their citizenship.

Dude, you're the one talking out of your ass and copping mad pleas for the Dominic00n government.

First off, you're a lie. The DR constitution grants jus soli to individuals who were born in the DR. That's the law.

Second, vast video footage and media coverage has shown that the people affected by the law are citizens of Haitian descent. And the majority of these individuals were born in DR, have lived in DR their entire lives, have never been to Haiti, and speak Spanish as their first language. Miss me with that "you don't know what you're talking about" bullshyt. It's clear that you don't though.

Are you even Dominican?

that's the whole issue. they stripped citizenship away from people who are second, third or even fourth generation dominicans. if your great great grandparents came to the dr in 1929 and didn't have the proper documentation, than your citizenship is taken away and you can get deported.

Why do you want Dominican acceptance so bad?

My family came here legally, I came here legally

I served and now an upstanding tax paying citizen and I obey the law of this land.
sure :sas2: why aren't you an upstanding, law abiding, tax paying citizen in your own country though? if less of you guys came for hand outs to the us, y'all might actually be able transform the dr into a modern nation state :sas1:

I has been stablished that the only people being deported are those without documentation, no ties to the government, and have not made any attempts to establishe their status in the government :comeon:

you keep bringing this like you are not even trying :dwillhuh:
