nikkas won't admit it here but DR has a huge problem with racism. My dad is Charlie Murphy black and was made fun of and fukked with all of his youth. I think it played a huge part in him raising me and my sisters. He would always tell us that we were black, black is beautiful and be proud of it. My mom told me stories of him beefing with her brothers because he caught them squeezing my nose as a kid to "fix" my nose :snoop:

This shyt with the Haitians isn't a surprise to me at all. :francis:
shyt is so ridiculous man. all of my best friends are either Black-American, Haitian, Dominican, or come from some island. and my Dominican friends aren't all "dark skin" but have always embraced being Black.

This is like the third or fourth time laws like this have been passed they are pretty much unenforceable in DR sure a couple hundred people a year might get sent back but several thousand more will still come in

its the same with the Mexican border here but the same dudes who will talk about "we gotta keep the Mexicans out" of our borders, will cry if DR enforces there

BTW at the end of the day mass deportation never works

1 small island with two nations never works, what we need is a consolidation of the island but that will never happen in our life times

Exactly.

Ppl are really getting worked up over nothing at all.

Let the DR do what they gon do. It's not like they're committing some huge atrocities.

This is such an idiotic statement. So something should only be done when the government starts inciting violence against Haitians?

Oh wait. That already happens and no one gives a fukk.

How exactly do you expect the DR to enforce this? What will be the true effects on those affected?

Because I wouldn't get worked up about them simply changing their immigration policy.

Saudi Arabia executing 100+ people so far this year is worse than the DR having immigrants file paperwork.
Congolese Security Forces murdering and mass burying hundreds of people to keep their president in power is worse than the DR having immigrants file paperwork.
The mass rape of 200+ women by Sudanese Forces and the conditions in Darfur are worse than the DR having immigrants file paperwork.

etc...

DR changing their immigration policy is really no big deal. We(the U.S.) deports ppl all the time. It is what it is

They do that shyt in Brazil too. Black people with wide noses are seen as a 'defect'. shyt is weird.

Who gives a shyt? It's not a contest about who's doing the worst. We can acknowledge that there are people suffering all over the world while still criticizing DR. I personally care that my country is pushing some backwards bullshyt policy that will uproot and completely disrupt thousands of people's lives for no other reason than the fact that our government is full of shyt. Whether it's enforced or not is part of the problem. The fact that this law is being pushed PERIOD, is the problem.

A law that isn't enforced isn't much of a law.

And a nation taking this kind of stance on immigration isn't anything crazy either. Take a look at immigration laws around the world. It's normal.

Sovereign States like to control their borders
