I'm not saying it's not important, but it's really best to learn on your own. I don't know the difference between when I went to school and now, but I'm gonna assume these schools are teaching the bare minimum.
Taught by you, taught by me and everyone else. That’s what churches did at one point (some still do) but you know how that goes. Most people don’t attend church or any religious gathering.Taught by who? You think Carter G. Woodson envisioned black history month in it’s current form?

Mid Terms is about to be a blue wave lol. It's like politicians have not learned , you lean too right, you will motivate voters to the poll to vote against you, same thing as leaning way too left lol
only a matter of time before they out here pretending that slavery didn't exist
ExactlyHow exactly would you teach them?
I know I can look myself, but are there any children's books on teaching black history? Probably the best way to get started.
I want everybody to know about the black communities contribution to american history, Not just us.Yup. Jewish people have Hebrew school, and my community used to have Saturday school where we learned a lot about black American history

Plus wasn’t it Black history week? No one knew that it would involve the government.
We live in a disinformation society now, school curriculum should give the basis to American history which is black history. In Florida, public schools are now teaching kids that slaves was workers(prager u), that is what crt is. If you allow people to " learn on their own" they will go down a misinformation rabbit hole that will lead to some c00n or white supremacist white washing black history.I'm not saying it's not important, but it's really best to learn on your own. Its just a catch all term now for any history that shows white americans in a bad light.
Teaching about Slavery? CRT
Teaching about the civil war but not portraying the south as heroes? CRT
