That stat might have more to do with Weeden being ass than the line being bad.

Colts oline is way worst than the Browns. Last year, Luck was hit 83 times per Football Outsiders. Most of any QB in the league. Through two games this year, Luck has been knocked down 14 times. That puts him on pace for 112 knockdowns. Even worse is that the Colts lost left guard Donald Thomas for the year after he tore his quadriceps on Sunday.

I think the Colts threw it more than anybody besides Detroit so that factors into it too

the browns are god awful, sometimes a change in scenery can bring out better in a player. He won't be the focal point of defenses anymore. It's now or never for this dude.

It only matters to a RB that can't get by without a good OL. An elite RB is supposed to be elite no matter what he's running behind, or who is taking snaps in front of him as many of the all-time greats have proven.

And how good Cleveland's O-line is or isn't is still very debatable. They are definitely not bad enough to be the result of the garbage ass stats Richardson has put up thus far:comeon:

Maybe behind a "good" OL he gets a few more yards per carry? Maybe becomes a 4.2 YPC back or something? I mean, ya'll nikkas think he's gonna turn into AD or Arian Foster overnight? Dude just doesn't have it. He has not shown one glimpse of anything resembling an elite, great or even good NFL RB.

You guys have a horrible habit of using AD as if anyone not as good as him simply isn't that good. shyt is tired.

A running back needs a good o line. I saw Thomas Jones rush for over 1,600 yards while eluding or breaking LESS than one tackle per game due to line play.

Stop misusing AD to shyt on the golden rule of needing a o line to produce. All AD needs is for someone to get in the way. He's an anomaly.

Lol at diminishing td's due to them not being "long runs". You Coli dudes know NO limits
He's right to a certain extent though, can't only base how good an RB is only on tds. Turner had double digits last year but looked :flabbynsick: . Then you have teams that like to bring in the bigger backs inside the 5 ala TJ Duckett that rack up tds while the other back does all the work. (I think T-Rich is a good 1,000 yd back though)

Not too many rookies have a nose for the end zone.

Indy, imo, just became a legit playoff team.

I think he's really going to be the final piece in that offense. Indy gonna have a beastly second half of the season once he learns the offense.

Honestly, he should perform better virtually anywhere other than maybe Jax. With no threat of a passing game teams stacked the box against Cleveland every play. That's one issue I have with the "losers win" draft mentality. The highest rated players go to the shyttiest franchises where they have little to know help.

If he can't cut it in Indy, it's a wrap. But there's a big difference between a front 7 and a front 9.

The same people waiting on Trent are probably the same ones still waiting on Demarco Murray. Some guys are what they are....

And some aren't because people think they know a persons window of greatness.

Seriously....I don't get the bringing up of AD in here as if he isn't an exception to the rule.

So did I.....last night. I"m trying to see Trent's limitations that game.

There's nothing about his game independently from oline play- that looks like someone I'd give up a high pick for. You better be a monster at the second level and have the ability to create on your own. Not to mention, I dont think he fits with the Colts at all.
