Of course all props to Cade. But I definitely felt Duren presence. Hot key free throws, key rebounds. He was good

Handle miraculously seems to have gotten tighter from the beginning of the season too. I keep saying it, but they need one more bucket getter that don't need to be spoon fed the rock to really start to build something.
The obvious off-season move is Brandon Ingram.

It’s risky but that’s the kind of guy they need…which is why I wasn’t really mad at the Zach Lavine stuff last year .

I could see how Lavine could really thrive on this team even moreso than Ingram, since he doesn't have to have the ball in his hand to go crazy. But I definitely understood the reason to not oil the trigger on that move, with the contract and that surgery to end the season. Kind of player type they could really use though.

Cade taking and being money with more pull up 3's is opening up his game so much more. Earlier in the season his shot was flatter and he seemed hesitant to take that 3 after getting some space off a pick or creating off the dribble. Now he letting that bytch fly and it's giving him more space to drive. Been waiting for him to really unlock that part of his game and it's great to see it happening.

Didn’t Him and clutch basically veto’d that deal. I don’t lame Detroit for passing on it. Don’t sound like a player that’s keen to bringing a winning mentality and changing the culture… now that Detroit is showing some promise towards the future, now Lavine and his team Is interested. Similar to Jimmy Butler in Houston. Jimmy
Said years ago he would never be interested in Playing for Houston because it’s so close to home and. Ow we’re on hai short list of teams he’s interested in laying for at the end of his career when he’s trying to get paid. Yeah, I’ll pass

I think him getting that surgery was a way to keep from getting traded anywhere he didn't wanna go. I totally understand why they didn't pursue it further as there were too many red flags. But that player type would fit perfectly with Cade. Explosive athlete, efficient shooter that can get hot in a hurry and doesn't need to have the ball heavily in his hands to have big offensive games. The injuries, attitude and contract, plus getting to realistically evaluate how the talent fit post Monty all were valid reasons why it didn't make sense to go after him.

Who wants it more defensively? We will see. But I like the Pistons play so far
