You can do that. It happens all the time
Knicks fans don’t :hubie:
You still want a creator/scorer at the four ideally. Funny enough, even a player like Randle would be really good for them. You can run offense through him and give Cade more opportunities off ball. Team is going to be fun to watch for years regardless.
That low-key would be a great pick up for them. He’s shown he is good with young players, and can play the smash mouth style they need.

nikka had more fouls than points last game. The fukk are you nikkas talking about? He was ghost the entire fourth quarter. Your offense can’t be Cade and two chuckers.
That’s exactly what the pistons offense has been all season. This is Cade and a bunch of guys some of em young and some of em older and off the trash heap. Nobody expects Tobias Harris to be the down the stretch guy.

See how I was humble and ain't send those Darts your way:pacspit:
Being a Lions fan all my life and you having to suffer through this recent stint of Giants buffoonery had been punishment enough for both of us to have endured. No darts returned (although you can't have Tupac spitting at me at the same time as you say no darts, but you the nikka so i let it slide )

Exactly. Cade, even with his flaws, dragged a bunch of not ready young guys and like you said, trash heap vets to a 6th seed. Give him a legit roster like alll of these other playoff teams and we'll see where they end up.

And they’re going to get gentlemen’s swept in the first round after being a couple wins from the playin. If you run it back your not gonna get much different results next year. Cade will improve for sure, you hope Thompson and Holland become shooters but that’s not going to happen in one season. Timmy and Malik peaked already. Duren isn’t going to turn into a 22 and 10 guy overnight, if he ever even gets there. It’s just as likely that yall regress next year than it is that you improve. Things move in this league quickly and the last thing THIS team should do is settle for just being happy to be there. Way too much dog in them to do so.

You get a secondary playmaker in place of Tobias and now you’re in cruise control development wise. You can still be competitive while you wait on Holland, Thompson and Duren to become who they’re supposed to be and keep gaining the experience you need to make that leap.

If I’m Detroit, I’m going after guys like Randle, Markenen or Sabonis. All who could be available this summer for a decent deal. I’d absolutely take a wild swing at Bam but I doubt Miami wants to blow it up and I’m thinking really hard about Zion.

You’re forgetting about Ivey. He was the second best player on team until he got hurt. Not sure of his ceiling but he was only other guy on Pistons roster that could help Cade with the scoring and playmaking load.

I tried to tell @NormanConnors before the series there’s levels to this shyt :francis:
:dead:What levels, Knicks could easily be down 3-1 with these so called levels

:mjlol:at this frontrunning shyt, just be happy with the lead even though the Knicks have been outplayed the majority of the series

Where were these levels getting bounced out of the playoffs the past couple of years?

@ me when breh truly does something elite.

Until then fukk Jalen Brunson :manny:

Ideally you’d like to see that secondary playmaker have size as to have an easier time to impose their will on a defense but i concede. I’d love to see what dynamic he adds to this team against a Thibs defense. It’s probably harder to hide Brunson with Ivey on the floor.

This season is all house money. Us pistons fan woulda been happy with them challenging for the play in coming into the season. But Cade became an All nba player and got them firmly into the playoffs.

And they giving the knicks with 4 40 million dollar players and 2 all nba players All they can handle with Dennis schroder as the 2nd best player. No Stewart who is the heart of the team and no Ivey.

You can say running it back will get the same results and that maybe true, but once upon it was who better Cade or Jalen green. Now it’s when Cade gonna take that sga leap. Cade has had one healthy off season to work on his game and it was last summer.

It’s funny people bringing up Detroit going after Julius Randle because before the KAT trade Detroit tried to do this exact thing. Ian Begley reported that Detroit, Miami and Atlanta were trying to trade for Randle.

The Pistons leadership must have saw this exact scenario with their offense playing out.
