Cade turnovers rear their head but him and Ivey back to back games outplay the other backcourt. Im good on stew and duren personally and yeah we need another ball handler to help these guys because even when you stagger cade/ivey teams know they can blitz them and the rest of the team hasn't shown they can score whatsoever
Sasser should be getting Hollands minutes right now. He is no where near ready

I wouldn’t mind pistons getting ayton outta Portland. Just 2 years left on his contract. Duren is not it and beef stew is usually solid on d. Don’t know what’s up with him.

Team needs playmakers in the worst way .

Cade is the only real one on the team ..and he has games where he just turns the ball over way too much (like tonight )..

Ivey can’t play that role at a high enough level which is why every time Cade sits and Ivey takes the reins with the bench unit everything falls apart ..he played good overall though.

Sasser is an undersized 2 so he’s not the answer either . Playing him at the one just neuters his aggressiveness and makes him completely useless ..He’s Jaden Hardy but ass

…so it’s just Cade with his turnover tendencies that has to create everything for the 4th year in a row. It’s not sustainable.

Every other team has multiple guys that can handle the playmaker role which frees their offense up..

look at the Cavs tonight …Mitchell/Garland/Caris/Jerome ..

Pacers on Tuesday Hali/Nembhard/Mcconell

Celtics tomorrow Jrue/DWhite/Pritchard/Tatum

With the roster set up how it is now the offensive sets they can run is handcuffed ..Teams know they can just load up on Cade and live with whatever happens .

Until this team figure the basics of roster construction out they will struggle to compete

Absolutely spot on. Ivey is not the answer at backup pg and even Cade needs the ball taken out of his hands at times so he can focus on getting buckets. Besides a real PG, a guy like Draymond would have worked wonders with this team, from a roster fit and a culture changer.

Be great if they can actually finish this one and get a sub against the celts, especially after what Jalen Brown had to say about them last season.

Pistons win this game if they kept Fontechio in. Tobias was terrible

Im so tored of watching a bad basketball team. Boston tried to hand you the game over and over again and you still fail

They definitely could use a veteran backup pg. and Ivey cannot be letting the likes of tj McConnell cook him.
That's what got Ivey benched last year in the first place, son is too athletic to not tighten those stances up and stay in front of cats.
