I watched Stewart get his lunch talented by Sengun and Jalen Johnson when Duren was out. Sengun absolutely destroyed stewart

Better than getting killed by Jakob Poetl. Stewart getting handled by those guys is due to his size deficiency not looking like a college freshman getting lost on the court in year 3 in the league. I think we can sucker someone into getting a nice vet and a pick.

Even that wasn't due to a lack of size or effort on Stewart's part. He was getting killed mostly on midrange jumpers. Duren wouldn't have had any effect on Sengun at all. He had the midrange and little floaters on automatic that night.

Don't get me wrong, Stewart isn't a starter in this league. He's got rock hands and the temperament of Draymond with a fifth of the bball iq. But he always plays hard and understands defensive rotations and how to anticipate defensively to at least be somewhat of a presence. Duren still be looking lost on defense most nights. Should at least be getting a couple blocks a game with that size and athleticism.

Can't wait for the day to enjoy a Pistons lead. I mean it looks like we got this one and may finally be 1 game under .500

Cade and Ivey both look like good defenders under JB. Especially Cade a bunch of stocks lately. If only they can get something defensively from Center position

Monty Williams better never get a HC job again. Coaching malpractice last year
lol I listened to a bulls podcast after Houston just blew them out and the dude brought up Monty and the Pistons twice as to how coaching matters. Dude said look at fukking Ivey and what he went thought last year when Monty had Killian Hayes playing ahead of him. That the 3rd time Monty name randomly enter the discussion lol. Fans in the eastern conference took notice of yall situation last year.

Anytime a team loses more than 10 in a row, i instantly start looking at the coach. This is the professionals . I don’t care how bad or under talented you are, you should never allow your squad to lose ten games in a row unless you’re pulling “the process”

Duren has looked like a Wiseman/Drummond combo . Having 5 fouls in 5 of the first 12 games is a competitive disadvantage. I know he’s 20 but I feel we could deal him on his ‘potential’ and get another Jalen Duren in any draft. I see Stewart as a great role player off the bench for a championship team in his prime and that’s worth keeping.
