I know you didnt ask me but, squats , deadlifts (to an extent, too much can make your waist wider, at least for me) and weighted hip thrusts <<< these give you the roundness
I didn’t watch the video (and I’m not going on to) but wouldn’t a rack have caught the weight sooner and took pressure off his body quicker? And I know what that machine is and how it’s used, it’s still dumb to me. Use a rack with safety arms.
Not necessarily, no. The safeties on competition racks (if they're used) are adjustable, so depending on where he would have had them set, they're prolly gonna be (roughly) in the same position as the safety straps on the monolift.
This is a freak accident and not indicative of what usually happens when you fail with a mono.
For thighs, try lunges and for glutes try the squats and something called fire hydrants and clam. Do it all with weights. Barbell for the lunges and squats and a band or leg weights for the fire hydrants and clams. I hope I helped.
