The writers at some point said time doesn’t move between seasons and that it’s been only a few months of real time passing on the show. I don’t think they took into account that child actors grow when they came up with that shyt though.

Now that I think about it, the show hasn't really stated what year it's in. And kinda gives off that vibe, that we shouldn't care, like a "go with the flow" kinda vibe

They stated it but if you watch the show you know time can't be moving as every season begins exactly where they left off the previous season.
