How can Ghost, Tommy and Kanaan etc commit crimes in NYC without a mask, in same clothing and not get caught?

Something that struck me as unrealistic as well was when the Jiminez killed someone in their fancy midtown Manhattan apartment. That would be such a bad idea in real life

and i find it funny that there's no street cameras around when they doing their crime, but for some reason when ghost was on trial for killing greg, they had a perfect video under a bridge where greg was harrassing ghost

The writers at some point said time doesn’t move between seasons and that it’s been only a few months of real time passing on the show. I don’t think they took into account that child actors grow when they came up with that shyt though.
