Why even change the fukking race of the Black Ranger?!

They had no reason to change it. Unless they purposely wanted to make the Black man the loser of the Rangers.

I was joking about the Aunt thing lol but theory is that she was the original green ranger before she became Rita which makes sense since the filmmakers said that Rita has a connection to them.
