That Cane and Effie shyt makes my blood boil lol. Cane is gutter status. The type of nikka to not shower, but smash multiple joints in the same day.

That’s been a running “issue” with Power antagonists. They come onto the scene well-oiled and lethal. By the end of the season, they have you questioning if they could sell a dime bag at a college party without getting their shyt snatched.

Probably the following reasons: to sell her ruthless, intolerable to nonsense demeanor to the audience, the show is in the season finale and they are trying to progress things quickly, and lastly, but not least, it’s Power.

IMO, they killed off Obi hastily. In more competent hands and if they were not in a such a rush to move along, they could have build on the Obi-Cane-Dru dynamic regarding their relationships with Noma.
