Looney tunes
Xmen tas

Over some gaynamie

anyway Ill take american cartoons in the 90's due to not really knowing what anime was and the only way dudes could get it was to go to those anime shops to buy the latest series and etc. Smh @ the pain dbz and funimation caused me from 96-00 with the video release :noah:

Not Japan
I was catching bits of DBZ on the spanish channels in the late 90s. But Marvel and DC was killing everything.

I live in the United States
I did and 90% of the my classmates in junior high was watching it when it was on WB, when I got to high school nikkas was still watching the re-runs on that kept ending when Goku arrived on Namek

Bruh, you and your classmates did not make up the majority, or it wouldn't of gotten cancelled :yeshrug:
It got cancelled right before it blew up... does that make sense?
And that shyt would come on WB like at 8am on every third sunday after leap year

Like, the shyt wasn't on WB during primetime kid cartoon watching hours :hula:

:snoop: you answered the reason it was canceled it was because the time that it came on, if it wasn't popular it would have ever gotten renewed for translation for Cartoon Network.

As much as I love Cowboy Bebop (and I know it didn't air in the US until like 2001, but I'm going with its original air date)...I might have to go with american cartoons...but it's pretty close.

Batman TAS
The Simpsons
South Park
Futurama
Batman Beyond
Rocko's Modern Life
OG Ren & Stimpy
Hey Arnold!

Action wise anime has cartoons beat, but comedy wise cartoons rape.

No one here was watching anime in the 90s. How the fukk were you watching all that shyt without the net?

:wtf: Only a few shows come in usually early in the god damn morning like 6 am.

I remember my cousin had bought the a dbz vhs and it had like the first 3 episodes on it and that shyt was like 20 bucks at this local video botique.

I know damn well know one was buying your lil 9 year old self those tapes at those prices.

I remember sailor moon coming on before school and dbz came on at like 5 am or some shyt on WB.

So its not a competiton cuz the only shyt anyone was watching was 90s cartoons.

:childplease: At these history revisionist acting like they was watching heavy animes in the mid 90s.

90s American cartoon.

I got into anime a decade ago.

Are there any 90s anime rivaling X-Men Animated series, Tiny Toons Adventures, or TMNT?

Most of the american cartoons including Duck Tales and Rescue rangers were animated in Japan and Korea for the most part.
