Trumps problem is that in 2020 when he lost, exit polls show he won 94% of self identified Republican voters and only 41% of independents.
I don't think it's out of bounds to suggest he might lose 10-15% of traditional GOP votes. And there's no way his numbers with Independent voters improves.
