Polling has consistently shown that the more crowded the GOP primary, the more likely (and more easily) Trump wins.

RNC forming like Voltron to get DeStilletos out the paint. :manny:

Most of the people jumping in are people who have nothing to lose and are running to raise their profiles (for VP, administrative positions, talking head gigs, etc.)

Yeah I don't even know anymore. This has shades of 16 all over again. The more the worse it is and better for Trump.

Michael Steele said it would be best to circle around 1 candidate now against Trump and put all resources behind him. I'm inclined to believe that

no, he isnt :mjlol: there is a 1 percent chance joe biden is president of the united states in january of 2029

and if you think feinstein is embarrassing, just imagine that 1 percent

Americans are not thinking like this.

One of DeSantis's many flaws as a candidate is the poor political judgment. A year ago, when he had less name ID nationwide, he might have been thought of as a moderate by those who pay only a little attention to politics.

He has destroyed any perception of moderacy and he is alienating independents and swing voters.

Voters will not be thinking about Kamala. They will be thinking about the six week abortion ban, the book bans, and the anti diversity initiates. These are not popular stances.

Also, the dumbass says he would pardon Jan. 6 rioters. Does your boy know that he might have to run in a General at some point?

No he does not, but I bet he figures he can get there and then make Biden look too old for another term. It’s his only chance

Let's see what happens the first time DeSantis gets asked to define "woke" and he can't get out of it by shouting down a reporter. What's happens when Trump or (if he gets past the primary) Biden makes him define "woke" in a debate?

This nikka is quite obviously not going to scale well nationally and we are seeing the beginnings of this. Dems have learned to begin calling this shyt out in March 2023, let's see how well it holds up by March 2024, let alone November.

I wrote the above post in March.

I see Ron taking this the entire way tho cause he has a very high profile and spot free record of doing what trump said he would do. Idk how republicans will take this. Ron is absolutely more of a threat IMO.

Ron was more of a threat before he branded himself as an extremist. One of the strategic problems Republicans will face moving forward is that the things one needs to do and say to win a Republican primary make you unpalatable for a General Election.

Tim Scott, Chris Sununu, Asa Hutchinson, and Nikki Haley would be dangerous in the General but will never make it out of the Primary.

DeSantis is putting all his energy in to winning the Primary, and in so doing, damaging his brand, and making himself unelectable for the General.
