Nah it’s just, we get Watson is a hot topic but there are plenty in media who have made their minds up and convicted this dude OR the same ones who’ve claimed Goodell has overstepped his boundaries previously, now begging the commissioner to put him on the exempt list for a civil, not criminal matter. She’s also conflating the idea that him talking to the FBI is a sign of guilt and not someone working to clear their name. Dishonest discourse all around. Fancy lad wanted to say the quiet parts out loud but you can hear him holding back.

It's hard to tell where Dan lands on it. On one hand, he wants to honor objective Journalism; you can hear it in his commentary when talking about documentaries and the subjects having the editing power.

He also doesn't want to abandon his own "player empowerment" edict and completely slam the idea of players telling their version. He ends up being stuck in the middle with his shoulders shrugged.

Which is odd, cause he takes that Michael Jackson Doc for fukkin Gospel.

Ehhhhh we don’t know if it’s a criminal or civil matter until the Grand Jury makes their decision. That’s the hold up in why he shouldn’t rightfully take the field until then.

Even then, people were clamoring for AB to be put on the exempt list for a civil matter, so at least they’re keeping the same consistency with this one.

Thank goodness for old man Cote. We have actual police statements and medical paperwork stating that Bauer shyt. That situation isn’t even a part of any conversation of this ilk. This show needed a female but I wish they would’ve gotten a woman of color or someone who wouldn’t keep leaning into the “im too young for this conversation” role and/or also added a permanent black person who’ll talk - Roy chimes in occasionally on real shyt, but he clearly doesn’t want to be a prominent on air voice. Jess just tips this brown when convenient pod of white Latinos into such a white show.

its too “ i went to a liberal art college” aura and sensibility. She aint experienced enough and too stubborn headed. She lacks culture.

I hate that this show touts itself as brown but have the most white washed latinos ive ever heard or experienced. They barely white and jess puts them under considerably.

Fancy lad is a workaholic who's been paying his dues and has other broadcasting jobs.

She's still in her 20's and will have better opportunities besides doing a podcast.

Plus, Miami is wildly overrated. I was hoping she'd say something about it when they kept going in on how crappy New York is
