Nah. I thought Dan made a good point of context and if those same allegations were only coming to light now, Kobe'd automatically be a pariah and banished from everything.
Plus, Dan's awkwardly handling that topic led to him stumbling reading the apology into the hard network out, everyone jumping on Dan about how awful an idea that was ("bold choice to go into reading that apology w/ 90 seconds left" "I thought I had it; I was clearing the lane" , Dan getting dumped for swearing, his cursing being attributed to Bette Davis when he meant Betty White but really meant Bette Davis but got the quote wrong, Dan being shook for the rest of the show, etc...
I get his point but why bring that shyt up especially in this era. We just saw Cosby and Dr. Dre get dragged behind some old shyt and though it was a valid point why bring it up now not even 24 hours after he won just to make a point? This is the reason athletes and most people really don't fukk with him. He tries to grand stand too damn much but you right about him fumbling the apology read. It was so perfect and he was so shook he ended up cursing and flaming out hard. I made my first reply right after it happened so the fumbling was poetic justice.
