thought i'd listen passively, but Billy going straight @ Samson is , they have my full attention
He regurgitated the same shyt we’ve heard since 2012. Mike has confronted Sampson with the same “facts” and he’s said the same thing. He is right. He’s not beholden to the fans. He only answers to one person. Billy was way too super emotional.Billy is straight shyttin on this man right now.
God damn. He got Samson in his feelings
billy hit samson with facts and ether, but samson juelz'ed the shyt outta it so i can't tell if he took an L or not , gonna have to relisten later on
You'd take the victory lap too if you guessed exactly what was going to happen and it came to fruition. He's not even partying on Jeter's failure, but the fact he fleeced him and the majority owner. They thought they could come in and do better simply by not being Loria/Samson and they've failed spectacularly so far. Worse record in the Majors since taking ownership. Listen, I'm Guillermo Mafia IV Life but this ain't the W a lot of folks are making it out to be. And the fact he tried to hold that COVID season up as some sort of accomplishment is reaching. Billy can't tell me that he had higher hopes for the next season based off of that year. And again, NOTHING was broken here. We've heard David explain EVERYTHING (minus the Jeter firing) that Billy was angry about.Billy's argument is simple: Samson gotta shut the fukk up tryna party on Jeter failing, because if we look at both of them objectively, they both failed.
This is nothing new in sports The Rooney's, the Jones' family here in Dallas, Shanahan and Hoodie having their kids on staff. It has been that way since the beginning. That's why I lol'd at Passan going to that as if he was dunking on Samson. He wouldn't call out the Hal Steinbrenner since he only got his position within his father's org the same way. David is just an easy target since he's vocal and arrogant afNever knew Samson was over the team because his step dad owned the team...
Is this true?

Basic knowledge you would think Billy would have came into the debate knowing as well. Not that David strikes me as the type but there's only so many times you can rehash the same thing over and over and over, especially on the same show. He's discussed this time and previously how involved Loria was as an owner and the new guy is pretty hands off and had to get info filtered through Jeter. Take Jeffrey to task instead of the easy piñata. I don't doubt he didn't see the contract. Mike Hill is still in the FO as well as others who were under the old regime. But that's what I mean by him trying to flex basic knowledge as him being much smarter than everyone else. He's basing it off of him (allegedly) having seen Jeter's contract,
