Time to switch up. After 2 months of 5x5 I'm starting PHAT tomorrow. I cant wait to see how this goes. I'm only gonna get about 10 days in since I'm going out of town on the 23rd.

Monday: Back/Biceps

4x Pullups
3x Bent over rows
3x T Bar rows
2x lat pull downs
2x Seated rows
2x straight bar curls
2x seated concentration curls


Wednesday: Chest/Shoulders...triceps

4x flat dumbbell bench
4x incline dumbbell bench
4x seated dumbbell shoulder press
4x (really comes to 8 total sets) supersets of rear delt flys/ lateral shoulder raise
4x incline hammer press (wide)

Friday: Legs :sadcam:

x4 squats
x5 stiff legged deadlifts
x4 leg extensions
x3 ham curls
x4 calves

A good way to make consistent progress is to rotate your power movements every 2-3 weeks. A few sets of assistance exercises can be done for smaller body parts like hamstrings (though deadlifts and squat will involve significant hamstring recruitment), calves, shoulders, and arms.

I do all the big shyt but dont do all the accessories.

I don't know why you have such a commitment issue with weight training routines. You haven't even gone through ONE cycle and already making adjustments. How do you know what your changes are doing if you don't know what the program does as written?

Just do the program. Two weeks. See whats good after.

If you can't do the above, then PHAT isn't for you...

I was on the same routine for a good 2 yrs and made decent gains. I found some weaknesses in my gains though and wanted to change it up to address them. My changing shyt around has only been over the last few weeks. The shyt I'm doing now seems to be working though. I've been through 2 cycles of the routine I'm on now.
