I'm curious about how people feel about Steve Smith and Latrell SPrewell (sp) but the thread is really about CLyde Drexler.

Personally i never rliked dude but i respect his game and accomplishments. But was talking to someone yesterday about SGs and all these names came up and homie said besides MJ and Kobe and AI there are very few SG's he'd pick over Drexler. Another dude that was there agreed. :dahell:
I just laughed and walked away :mjlol:
I laughed at it but then again i cant say i paid that much attention to Clyde when he played. I remember when there was a deal on the table to trade him to Miami for Harold Miner and me being the Miner STAN that I was was strictly opposed to it. Im almost certain i'd pick random cats like Allan Houston and maybe just maybe Sprewell over him.

But thats just me :manny:

Clyde is better than kobe, breh.
when not injured Drexler's number were more dominant than most and the only sg of that Era I am taking over him are mj and mitch. I am only taking mitch because mitch could light it up.
yet, dribble drive wise outside of mj.
I can't think of anyone who was better at that other than mj in that era.

I don't think he got enough credit defensively. I don't think I've seen anyone else ever block kobe's fadeaway, multiple times at that.

Tmac had kobe shook and mentally had some intimidating edge over him.
glad someone mentioned the multiplease blocks.

I would include T-Mac but I considered him more of a 3 than a 2.

Anyway, sorry you young cats couldn't see prime Drexler, if it wasn't for MJ dude may have easily had 3 or 4 rings.

1. Michael Jordan
2. Dwayne Wade
3. Clyde Drexler
4. Kobe Bryant
5. Allen Iverson
6. George Gervin
7. Reggie Miller
8. Ray Allen
9. Vince Carter
10. Manu Ginobili

Honorable Mentions: Latrell Sprewell, Stephon Marbury, Jeff Hornaceck, John Starks

I like your list but Marbury was a PG and i never cared for John Starks. I think he was just a good player playing in NY which adds to the spotlight. Allan Houston was far far far better

I've never seen T-Mac as a 3. Dude was just too skinny. He had the height but would easily get worn down if he came across any physical 3's that would post him up like Mashburn or a few others.

How does your list exactly hold any legitimacy if you don't have Wade in the 3 spot or the 4 spot?

wait, are picking favorites?
