Grown men in their 30s and 40s, arguing profusely about which of their favorite rapper is better than someone else's, like it's 2003.

"50's catalogue kills everything Ja has ever put out" - 44 year old father of 3:francis:

"Hov has better beat selection than Nas, always has" - 48 year old, divorced man :beli:

Arrested development is real.

Coli brehs still thinking it’s 2005! :russ: mentally they haven’t left their youth

Just like old boomers acting as if we’re still in the 1970s lol. Applying 1973 narratives and mindsets in 2023…still thinking their music is revelant a half century later.

Same thing about Generation X brehs having the same biggie and Tupac debates in 2023 just like they had back in 1997

I make the same observation when I see cac boomers online having long and intense debates about the Beatles or the rolling stones.

It’s like bruh mfs are still stuck in the 1960s-1970s.

Can you explain what you mean by overproduced and provide more examples
All the instruments were electronic in that track, and I HATE that 90s E-piano sound that was in so much R&B at the time. So many good songs get taken down a notch by that production style.

Other examples:

You're playing a dangerous game, because you know good and damn well brehs are going to ignore the bolded and act you said those songs are trash. :mjlol:

You're not wrong, though. I can't think of a single situation in which using actual live instruments would've been worse than the alternative.

not the album... just the cover

It's like even the cover itself is trying to distance itself from him.
