Them dudes are shoot-first kind of PGs. Dame Lillard too. It ain't about what someone else is doing for them. It's about what they do while on the floor. Gone are the days of only looking at the PG in the traditional mold of being a passer, doing the penetrating, and creating scoring opportunities for teammates. You still have those types (CP3s, Rondos, Conleys) but you got a lot more PGs who blend the scoring and shooting that you would normally see from a SG with those typical PG duties (Currys, Kyries, Dames). PG position has evolved.
I agree with you here but Kyrie and Steph are not even setup PG while the rest of the guys you named are is what I'm saying :manny: guys like Russ and Lowry shoot because it's not enough shooters on their squads that they trust.

He played a great finals but let's be real, he usually doesn't play like this. I've read smart basketball people ever consider starting Delly ahead of him because of the type of basketball he usually plays (bad decision making, over dribbling, poor defense etc.) but he really did play like he should play in these finals. Hope he can keep it up

I still have him below Curry, CP3, Westbrook, Lillard and possibly Wall too. If he can continue to play the way he did in these finals (Quicker decisions, attacking the rim) then I'd have him clearly over Wall. BUt Kyrie will need to prove this over time because he did not have near this kind of impact during the regular season much less for his career.
What the hell are you talking about?

The way he played, he usually doesn't play that way. He didn't over dribble (as much as he usually does) and made much quicker decisions than he normally does. He also pulled back on some of his usual bad shot attempts and played the best defense of his career.

He stopped dribbling the air out of the ball and finally played within the offense and the results were highly potent. nikkas earned that Killa Kyrie name this series.

I see what you're saying: LBJ primarily does that kind of setting up and facilitation of the offense for the Cavs. Meanwhile, GSW doesn't rely on a specific player rather it's a product of their system--screening, cutting, and pick n rolling. I just think Kyrie is capable of doing that kind of traditional PG facilitation but doesn't have to because of LBJ. Every team LBJ is on adjusts to him and his unique skill set.

Been knew Kyrie was nice, but since he wasn't getting to the playoffs, people were sleeping on his game. As much as I like John Wall, the Coli comparisons between them have to stop. Kyrie's a top 3 pg currently, without a doubt.

In clutch situations kyrie and Dame are the 2 best pgs. But replace either of then with Westbrook and the thunder decline. I still think Westbrook is the best PG in the nba. :yeshrug:

I honestly still would take John wall over kyrie as well. Gotta remember when the cavs was kyrie team they were damn near last in the east. Also John wall is better at everything except scoring:yeshrug:
