He played a great finals but let's be real, he usually doesn't play like this. I've read smart basketball people ever consider starting Delly ahead of him because of the type of basketball he usually plays (bad decision making, over dribbling, poor defense etc.) but he really did play like he should play in these finals. Hope he can keep it up

I still have him below Curry, CP3, Westbrook, Lillard and possibly Wall too. If he can continue to play the way he did in these finals (Quicker decisions, attacking the rim) then I'd have him clearly over Wall. BUt Kyrie will need to prove this over time because he did not have near this kind of impact during the regular season much less for his career.

Kyrie showed all this potential before Lebron got there. This explosion was a direct result of Tyronne Lue and the Cavs throwing out their offense and just letting them ball out like the Warriors.

Like it's been iterated, I think I even said it on here a few times, but I always felt that Kyrie was good enough to sit at the elite pg lunch table with Steph, CP and Russ... This is all just sweet vindication.

And if one more person compares him to some fukking John Wall, I'm gonna lose my shyt...

Safe to say kyrie has put himself in the conversation with curry and westbrook as a top 3 PG in the game. I wish rose can get healthy so he can get back in that convo as well. Kyrie was great, and he took the challenge to guard steph as well which didn't leave cleveland in a lot of cross matchups.

He's definitely not in the Steph, CP3 and Russ tier.. not even close. Over the regular season, Cavs were -0.4 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor compared to off the floor. That's correct, they were better with him off the floor. He doesn't have their kind of impact. Could he in the future? It's possible, he's still very young. But he's not in that tier at the moment.

Much more physical than Curry is. And there's no need to beat a dead horse on where Curry outshines him, for now.

But it took Steph a while to develop, and Kyrie is just now getting into his peak. Sky is sort of the limit.

Westbrook should take a look at what Uncel Drew did right. I cant help but think how Durant is looking at the LeBron/Kyrie combo.
