landis sold the rights many years ago, so it makes sense..the guy is blackballed.
Yea I'm burnt out on this type of horror, especially for a remake. Tobe Hooper and Spielberg put so much energy and fun into the OG, I don't see that liveliness in this one. I may be wrong though
