in my view. Houston nikkas are very laid bacc and cool nikkas to be around. They fucc wit out of towners though they can have an issue beefing with each other alot. Not overly violent. Put money before killing. Hustlers. I guess something like Queens nikkas or Harlem nikkas. Maybe a mixture.

Dallas and to an extent Fort worth nikkas are different almost the opposite. Dallas nikkas are alot more upbeat. Very grimey sneaky and untrustworthy. A very territorial city. You can live on the next street over literally but since it's a different zip code or different neighborhood technically nikkas will not fucc wit you. Historically more violent than any other big city in Texas. Alot of legendary jack boys and robbers. So I guess you can compatriot to a Brooklyn, specifically a Brownsville or eny

Far as the streets are concerned, despite the gangs- H town nikkas are naturally more similar to the bay(aside from oakland. I'm thinking more Frisco and Vallejo) than LA- playas, pimpin hustlers, gridin, shinin, drippin. The vast majority of TX black kingpins and TX black urban cultural trends/phenomenon are from here.

You right. DFW nikkas are more grimy like LA nikkas. And y'all can have all that shyt.

Deep East TX is most definitely not just the south, but the deep south. It's culturally no different from the Louisiana side of the border. Nacagdoches, TX --> Natchitoches, LA share more culture and history with each other than they do with other parts of their respective states going all the way back to colonial times.

SETX(from the golden triange to houston) like others have mentioned are easily apart of the southern gulf coast "western creole" cultural sphere especially as it pertains to Afr'Ams. The cooking, the architecture(shotgun houses), the geography, the music, the accents all fall squarely into that category. Remember, Juneteenth was created here.

And even central TX is historically apart of the "western" south. There are numerous historial freedmen settlements in the Austin metro area. And slaves even built the state capitol building in Austin.

And the black cowboy tradition in TX has more Florida, Louisiana, and Carolina roots than Mexican roots.

Yeah, the AA population in Austin and SA is still very much tied to The old South. But outside of the AA's, Austin and SA seems so different from the traditional South. Austin and SA are similar to Miami in that way, in which the AA pop is the only thing tying these towns to the South.

Then y'all need to clarify that with them nikkas, cause he said that shyt in a disrespectful way. I don't be in Houston too often so I don't get to see what's really up down there.

They was mostly killin each other and getting killed by Htown natives. Every article you can pull up about the evacuee murder rate talks about them being VICTIMS of homicides more than committing them.

Case and point.

One H-town nikka + 11 weeks = at least 7 evacuees dead. Wash rinse and repeat across the city.

New Orleans nikkas had no hustle about 'em, didn't know how to move in the city, and got killed when they tried to move in on local hustlers blocks.

Soup, a 50-year-old African-American crack dealer from New Orleans, described his methods for coping with potential competitors and the on-going conflicts among sellers:

I really don’t have no territory but I go find me a spot that I know is safe, where ain’t nobody doing what I’m doing and I handle my business. But I know if you go into somebody’s territory they are going to kill you. That is what has been happening all through the early days of the year. They were just shooting each other up. Why are you over here!? Then after they shoot him, somebody drive over there to shoot somebody over there. That is why I don’t like, you know…I mean I know people that be out there on them corners but I don’t hang out there with them.

^^^^^ Straight from a NO nikkas mouth.

That or they had to fall inline under our wing. And we sent them back with our stamp on 'em.

That's why it's H-town based bloods gangs in New Orleans today.

NO nikkas never moved shyt in Houston. They ain't hustlers like that. Quite the opposite actually.

H town nikkas be movin shyt all through new orleans and the entire state of Louisiana, though.

Just a few days ago in Shreveport(another city with h-town based blood gangs).

We ain't called "Hustle town" for nothin.

The only thing them NO nikkas was known for was getting punked in school, juvie/tdc, and lock up because they had no hands to save their lives.

Somebody gotta say it.

Both historically and currently.

Not talkin about GA or TX. Only H town & ATL.

Should be interesting. I'll set it off with:

Slave population in 1860:

Atlanta: %20.3

Houston: %22.2
ATL is the least southern city in GA, while H-town is the most southern BIG city in TX. Don't know why they always tryna question our southerness.
