TYRONE GA!
Under appreciated, they get a lot of lip service .

this. so many homeless vets out there struggling and suffering from mental issues and no one gives a fukk. that's what really pisses me off with the whole Kaep shyt about him "disrespecting" the military when he clearly wasn't. Fake patriotism.

Help those homeless vets and those suffering man.

I wouldn't mind seeing more emphasis on the VA

That's a BIG fukkin deal :dahell: med school is like $250k. If your friends didn't earn full scholarships they're paying that shyt back, making it harder to buy a house, etc. You're paying the price of "feeling old" :dead: trust, most would gladly take that over them damn bills. You don't want that life :damn:
Still, that's the only major benefit you get for wasting 4 years of your life (this depends on your job). The job I had in the military doesn't translate to the civilian world so I essentially wasted 4 years of my life. I'm 4 years behind my peers :francis:. I should at the very least also get free health care for the fukkkery they put me through too (exposure to chemicals without a respirator, extreme noises from jets etc.).

I’m still not sure what I’m thanking some random nikka who got deployed to Hawaii for exactly
This.

I know a guy who was in the military and never saw any combat. He'd tell me about how he did tours in Iraq and all he did there was work out, chill at the pool, and watch DVDs. A lot of times he'd sleep on the job. Then once he got out the military he told flat out lies so he could get medical disability money. Why should I be thanking someone like that? :what:

it's over appreciated

i didn't ask any of these dudes in the military to go off and fight in the middle east. whatever they're doing over there isn't "protecting my freedom" or whatever bullshyt ass lie republicans like to go with

i respect a soldier, but i don't owe them a fukkin thing

that's cool

but I honestly don't understand why people can't be straight up indifferent instead of fukk yes or fukk no. its an option to not give a fukk :manny: people say "i knew a scumbag who just got the benefits and didn't do shyt" but lets be real - there's scumbags in every walk of life.

i swear more civilians got opinions than people in the military do. the media forces this shyt on people more than the military explicitly. might be a few outspoken guys here and there but the vast majority of vets won't even go into detail about their time in good or bad.

Joined the month after I turned 18, learned a great trade, went around the world twice, made lifelong friends, they paid for my college, and I get to eat like a king every Veterans Day/plus I live in an area with a gang of military so there’s always little perks, all for 6 years of my life, so yeah, one of the best decisions I ever made.

well the military industrial complex is holding this country hostage, and these fakkits in washington give the pentagon a blank check year after year for this bullshyt. fake wars that are nothing but a cash grab for weapons makers

now that's not individual soldiers faults, but theres plenty to be angry about with the us military

I have alot of respect for Special Ops dudes. shyt like Navy Seals, Delta Force, Rangers, Green Berets, Pararescuemen, Marine Recon. That shyt takes a special kind of person and mindset to accomplish. Even pilots and shyt.
:salute:

All of the other soldiers, it’s just kind of like “meh”.
:russell:

I appreciate what they do, though.

holding this country by handing out a ton of fukking jobs? people throw around "the military industrial complex is evil" but completely discount the fact that it pretty much dragged this country out the great desperation and is a pillar of our economy - and rest assured, if it wasn't us selling this shyt then it'd damn sure be someone else. yal don't want those problems. you really don't.

on the other hand we look the other way entirely when it comes to insurance, medical, and even educational sectors openly fukk the entire population sideways :beli: if you don't want to join the military that's more than okay. shyt, if its a part of your moral beliefs then even better. totally respect that shyt. but to act like the military is directly effecting people's lives in a significant way during their day to day is just wildly offbase. army ain't fukking your rent up, throwing massive loans at you, or making you pay double or triple what some medical product is actually worth. military isn't gonna make you pull a second mortgage, force your kids to look at charter schools if they want real education, or charge you out the ass just to see a doctor.

some specialist in a camaro might fukk someone's wife but that's really about it :russ:

I've met a lot of Navy divers and 2 seals. Definitely the kind of people you want to be around if the world was ending or some shyt like that.
