People can support black Americans and the ADOS movement while questioning/calling out bullshyt.

Yes, his stance that he wants to work to end the racial wealth gap and he wants to pass H.R. 40.

He also did say that reparations isn't feasible this election cycle, and he's clearly not going to run on it when only a quarter of America supports it. Who are you supporting instead to get reparations this election cycle? Does opposing Bernie get you there somehow?


These are the actual receipts. Bernie's been talking about needing to fight the racial wealth gap and discriminatory policing for 30 years and that shyt is all over his promises for the presidency.

11. Identify and fix the underlying causes that lead to a higher mortality rate among black children and black mothers.
12. Institute Jim Clyburn’s 10-20-30 proposal for distressed communities.
13. Establish a commission to study and research reparations (H.R. 40)

That's a shytload of receipts and some really far-reaching policies for someone who "doesn't give a shyt" about Black folk.

I take people at their word. He said he doesn't support reparations for black people.
Oh. he's not "running" on reparations, but secretly he's going to pass it. We're supposed to hope and pray that when Bernie gets in office, then we'll get tangibles. A wink wink, and nod nod. And when it's time for reelection, it'll be the same story. Can't run on your issues, just get me in. And then when he's out and hasn't done anything, it's because they need to get the next democrat in.

Is Bernie the first candidate to offer a lot of stuff that sounds good? Didn't Obama do the same thing? Yet, things remained the same for black people. Why do you think this reparations or no vote thing got started? Because black people are losing faith. You can only lie to people for so long. We want direct, specific, tangible things. Not the crap Bernie's offering, because it is not much different from what others have promised.

Obama Administration investigated 25 police departments and entered into consent decrees with 14 of them (several more including Chicago entered their decrees after Obama left office but the legal process was already well underway).

Trump Administration has investigated zero. And given signs it won't even enforce what it has.
