If yall nikkas don't know, it does not even matter if you can prove that it was acquired legally. I had got flicked leaving the bank and in front of my job (my job is right across the street from my bank), the cop followed me from the bank parking lot to the front of my job. I had 3 grams of weed in the car so that "gave" them the right to seize my car and my money. After talking to the detective and showing my check stub and my withdrawal receipt, they still did not give me back my 500$ and I ended up having to pay the detective 2,000$ just to release the seizure on my car. These mothafukkas are shady as fukk out here breh's.

Its pretty much a system in place for this for whoever is in charge of the forfeited cash to not give you your money back "if they don't feel like it". They don't have to prove shyt, and if you prove that you worked for it, they can still deny you getting it back. There is no law in place that says proving it was legally acquired means they have to give it back, which im sure the government did that on purpose. Its fukked up rt.

I had 3 grams of weed, I admitted to being a smoker, I showed that I literally got the money from the bank minutes before being pulled over, I showed that the money was directly deposited from my job. I don't give a damn what the law says, the law is unjust and is used to criminalize blacks, nothing more. The agents in this case and in the case of DetroitWarren are prime examples of white supremacy. Warren was followed because he was black, and the agents in this case seized the money and didn't return it because the victim was black.

It's fukked up, but he came through an airport with over 10k? That's really dumb, to the point I'd think he didn't know, or he did, and was trying to get it through. EVen 6k will get snatched if you can't prove where you got it. Airports are full of drugs/money interdiction task forces. He can get the money back, it will just take probably 18 months or more of constant litigation and an attorney. Dudes get half their drug money back sometimes, if it's just money, but that will put the spotlight on you, and if you don't look good in the light, you don't do it. So, they win like that all the time.
