so let me get this straight. you are not allowed to carry more than 10k in cash. and if you do, the punishment for that is that they take your money away from you and don't give it back, no matter where you got the money from or what you intended to do with it. there is no trial or anything, the money ist just gone. that can't be right.

U gotta point.

Its a dumb law but only dumb ppl will get seized. I dont even like having remt money on me. Lse my wallet? Drop money out unknowingly while doing smother transaction? Potential of getting robbed? Not to mention the fact of being responsible.

Nah buddy thats going straight to my bsnk card or money order.

yeah, because a white person runs the same risk of getting stopped by the police as a black person.
my nikka....I get it

you dont like the story. It sucks

but its a law. Its not racially motivated

you just cant carry over 10 racks with you

its a fukked up situation

but its not racially motivated

its called civil forfeiture

when they take ya bread....you gotta prove that you gained it legally

stop and frisk isn't necessarily "racially motivated" either, it just so happens that more Black and Hispanics are stopped and frisked than anyone else

that is racially motivated

its geared towards those in high risk and high violence areas

they made that law to search those people

:what:Will you calm down with that bullshyt??? At what point is a dude gonna need to walk around with that much guap? You do know people will try you, broad day, if they get a wiff of a few hundred? But 11k? Of fukking course that's gonna get seized , and that can get you bodied on the street. Be obtuse if you want, fool.

Only in certain environments do people have a higher probability of "trying" you. He was at an airport on his way to Florida. The probability of someone "trying" him at an airport was rather low.

You sound like some white guy who has never been on the street. Sure, there are some guys you have to watch out for (you'd know who they are), but the level of crime isn't as high to the point every guy is getting robbed in broad daylight walking around with a backpack. Especially at certain times of the day. So stop with the nonsense thinking you know anything about the "street". You spend too much time on WSHH and Fox News, obviously.

In terms of the DEA, I knew this was coming. They wagered the guy didn't have any sort of status in society, so they could take his money for nonsense reasons. I doubt they would steal the money if the guy were white. I HIGHLY doubt it.

And hell, if it was his money, he has the right to take it anywhere he wants. Whatever his reasons for not putting it in the bank were his own, but he didn't deserve to have the money taken away from him. I am not even going to attempt to justify the DEA taking away the money. Most of those agents are racist and it just further shows the injustice of this system we live in today.

Black people also should take note of, the accusation of him "STEALING" the money, and when cleared the money was NOT returned. That is indicative of an unjust system.
