MABANK, TX (KLTV) -Social media is far-reaching, and what gets posted there can often return to haunt those who say things that are considered objectionable. An East Texas firefighter is now experiencing this after being fired for his alleged post on Facebook.

Mabank volunteer firefighter Kurtis Cook reportedly posted on a South Carolina newspaper's Facebook page that the confessed Charleston church shooter, Dylann Roof, "needs to be praised for the good deed he has done." Roof is alleged to have shot and killed nine people who were in a Bible study class at the historic Charleston Emanuel AME Church.

His post was shared across social media, calling for people to call the Mabank Fire Department asking to have the volunteer removed from the department. Mabank Fire Department leaders said, on social media, that they were investigating the allegations on Friday morning.

Less than an hour after that statement was posted on the department's Facebook page, they posted again, this time saying that Cook had been terminated from his volunteer position.

The statement read:

As of 1123 hrs, after an investigation in the allegations being made of Firefighter Kurtis Cook, the Mabank Fire Department Command Staff has terminated Kurtis Cook as a volunteer firefighter permanently and has trespassed him from all Mabank Fire Department property. The Mabank Fire Department does not condone nor promote these type of actions or thoughts. On behalf of all members, the Mabank Fire Department offers our deepest apologies to all that were offended by his actions and comments.

This has to be one of the biggest PR disasters for White Supremacy in this country in decades. This ranks up there with the 16th St. Baptist Church bombing, killing those Jews who were freedom riders, hitting MLK. A pure tactical blunder no matter how you slice it.

All the usual talking points: thugs, black on black crime, "black culture", welfare, rap music, single mothers, hoodies/sagging pants, respecting authority...right out the window. The first line of defense dropped. Usually you'll have people arguing all those talking points right along with whites. Keeping the discussion on its most basic level. Not this time.

Out of all the places, and people in Black America his stupid ass chose them. Even whites on St*rmfront are sitting here like :dwillhuh: "why did you do this"? Respectability politics got flipped on their damn head. Thankfully he chose Black Christians. A lot of you all don't see it because you aren't checking the long game (chess not checkers). All that heinous shyt and family of those martyrs are saying "I forgive you". Thank God (all pun intended). If that had been any other crew they would have been on the offense. They're on defense like a muthafukka now...because how can they character assassinate?

Why do you think they're saying "mental illness", "gun control" and the rest of that shyt? Trying to sling shyt hoping something sticks, hoping people believe it. White Supremacy/Racism is left wide open in plain sight exposed.

They need the moderates like every other group and cause. There's no real protection they can fall back behind...this went global. Bring up the church's history, attacking Christians...the whole historical narrative.

That's why they want to call it a "hate crime" because they know countless people hate Black Americans- situation normal. Calling it "terrorism" brings up all the shyt they've always done since day 1. That's something they've fought tooth and nail to blame it on us. "See...this is why we had to do this". Image is important, fukk what anybody has to say.

His stupid ass did what 10 Farrakhans, and 100 Umars and Tariqs could never do. This might be the moment that the sleeping giant finally wakes up. There's only so much poking a sleeping bear before it awakes and claws half your face off. This got tens of millions of Black American's attention...the question is will they wake up and get out the bed or hit the buzzer and doze back to sleep? They're hoping the latter, makes it easier for them to smother you with that pillow.

White people know and understand the implications, sadly it doesn't seem too many Blacks do though.

Black People, I would say it's time to really go in hard on our "Sell outs" (I don't like using the word c00n but I understand). But like I said, it's a waste of time we have to keep moving forward with our message and let the sellout be sellouts. But we also have to understand If Blacks want to defend White Supremacy, then they are hurting our message. So there's nothign wrong with calling them out if we must to check them. We just can't waste time debating them. Vesey was sold out by Blacks and that's the reason the church was burned down 200 years ago and he was killed. Black Sell Outs not only hurt the cause but aid White Supremacy in making their own lives bad. They are truly lost.
