Do jews pray for forgiveness for what the Nazi's did to them? Nah...they still dragging Nazi war criminals from Argentina and sending them to prison 70 + years after the fact.

Does the middle east forgive america for destroying the infrastructure of iraq and afghanistan and killing hundreds of thousands of people (including innocent civilians, women, and children) for just over 3,000 in the WTC attacks back on September 11th? That weren't even linked to either of those countries?

What sane person wants to forgive...or pray for...or seek peace with...people that have already made it known they hate you and want to kill you? fukk moral highground, it doesn't make any sense at all.

I'm pretty sure when they killed osama and ran up and hung saddam and televised it, the good ole boys of the US of A army forgave them...lol.

Preach.

It's a tenant of their religion and that's nothing you can just give up on a whim.
Do I agree with it? No I hate religion and believe the world would be a better place without it but this isn't something that's changed automatically its a process and it's mainly older people.

Black people have the right to believe in what ever they want to belief its a basic human right. Stop blaming blacks for what others have done to the race.

Ya'll are condition to blame black people and look for a black villain instead of tackling white supermacy head on.

What sane person blames the victims in this situation?

Yet during sandy hook when white people were on television saying they forgive him none of these Submissive arguments were even made. Ya'll let white people do things but black people don't have the luxury to do the same.

Stockholm syndrome to the fullest.

Exactly. And you pretty much nailed it with the Nazi/Jew thing. We constantly forgive other people, but are quick to hold dumb grudges towards nikkas for decades, and sometimes for life. :skip:. I aint gonna front we got a lot of problems in our community that needs to be addressed.

We've been told to assimilate & integrate with whites by our own black leaders. They led us like lambs to the slaughter. MLK's demonic speech about holding hands with CACs put some magic spell in our head. It made us believe some shyt that will never happen. We keep getting wake up calls from racist CACs but the some of us want to pray FOR the enemies which is insane.

this is a christian nation, and this same forgiving attitude isn't taken toward ISIS, Al Qaeda, Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, and countless others.

seems like Black christians are doing all the forgiving while white christians are doing all the killing while simultaneously saying "God bless America", reason is, is that whiteness is the God of America.

Stop. And calm down. I believe that black folks got the right to believe in whatever.

But you can be RELIGIOUS and still be RIGHTEOUS.

Jews got a defense league and their own police forces...
Christians go to war for religion. George Bush said god sent them to Iraq. Christianity and Catholicism have been responsible for damn near all of the wars of the past millenia.
Muslims pray and fight...not to paint all of them with a radical brush...but when shyt needs to be done...it needs to be done.

And the victims in this case are already gone. So I'm not blaming them...I'm blaming the people that are still alive for uttering that BS...that makes us look weak as a collective...which allows for this to happen again and again and again...which allows courts to acquit and try the defendants/perps as not guilty. BEcause if black people are forgiving them...what sense does it make to bring them to trial? Nothing will happen...they know it...they take advantage of it. HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THIS!?

Your doing a disservice trying to compare youself to jewish people. As if jewish people are essentially not white people :skip:

The terrible atrocities of the holocaust happened in Europe to white jewish people.

Its frustrating seeing my own people come on TV time n time again and make a complete mockery outta themselves. Blacks praying for the victims, coming together to heal isn't the problem....Showing love, compassion and forgiveness for these white supremacists is what I have a huge problem with. That shyt makes me sick to my stomach. If they wanna pray for that fukkboi...Do that shyt in fukking private or something. Why do we gotta be all in front of the cameras, all in the videos singin and holding hands? STOP IT PLEASE!!!! THEY STILL NOT GONNA LOVE YALL! No matter what. Being a black Christian don't mean shyt to them....

All its doing is making the killer look less like a monster and more like a human being that was troubled and had mental issues. If this was a black man that killed 9 white Christians in a church, All hell would break loose. Its time to just face that reality that were fukked. They can pray all they want, but at the end of the day were still gonna have to deal with White Supremacy. Praying ain't gonna stop bullets from hitting you....This ain't the fukking Matrix. Were basically walking around asking to be killed which makes us look suicidal.

I'm trying so hard to not make this about religion and those in grieving but fukk.....I never realized how big of a sleeper hold it had us in until now. Its a great tool to brainwash us with when shyt gets real. I still love my people though.....Were just gonna have to keep it moving without them. They're mentally and spiritually broken.

I understand

Baptist heavily religious older people are which aren't the majority and won't be as big of a group in coming years.
They've been conditioned to be this way for decades and imo it's not such a negative position to take if they're separating forgiveness and the pursuit of justice.
Saying they forgive him isn't the same as saying he shouldn't face the consequences of his actions or at least that's how i'm interpreting their belief.
I don't think any of you are right or wrong I just don't want to shame them.
